"ComLog" icon. Once again you will get a dialogue box requesting a User Name and a
Password.

piece of paper with a red background flashing on and off. When the flash is off, you
will notice that there is a picture of a cassette tape showing.

shown as "Standby". The archive in Standby should match the information from the
Storage Manual Operation screen you viewed previously.
- Click on the "yellow padlock" on the right hand side of the archive that is in the standby
mode. This unlocks the drive and allows you to remove the DVD cassette. If you leave
the padlock in the locked position, you will not be able to open the DVD drive door.

the process.
- The CVDS computer is mounted in the rack below the Dictaphone data tape storage
drawer.
- You will notice that the alarm is sounding a tone every 50 seconds. As well you should
see a red light beside one of the DVD driver indicators. The red light will be beside the
drive that is needing changing. As an information, if you notice a "yellow" light beside
one of the archives, this means that 50% of the DVD in use has been used.

disappear.
- Click the "X" in the top right of the dialogue box to close out of the dialogue box.
- Click on the "_" on the top right to minimize the program to the task bar or click on the
"X" to close the program. You can leave the program minimized onto the task bar to
allow easier access the next time or close it out all together. Either method will still
allow the ComLog to still function at all of the workstations that it is installed at.
- If you check in the Equipment Room you will now note that the "red" light by the
Archive is now out and the "alarm sound" will no longer be sounding.
The process is now complete. You may leave the computer on the ComLog or return it to
the ProLog screen (normally left on the ProLog screen).
